The Los Angeles Angels made a pair of free-agent signings in an attempt to bolster their bullpen.

Right-hander Jordan Romano and left-hander Drew Pomeranz agreed to one-year contracts, the club announced Tuesday.

Romano will make $2 million, sources told Jeff Passan of ESPN.

Meanwhile, Pomeranz gets $4 million, according to Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.

Romano authored an 8.23 ERA with 1.45 WHIP and 9.9 K/9 over 49 appearances with the Philadelphia Phillies during 2025 in what was easily the worst season of his seven-year career.

The 32-year-old posted a 2.37 ERA with 95 saves and 11.1 K/9 with the Toronto Blue Jays between 2021 and 2023 en route to a pair of All-Star selections before dealing with elbow issues in 2024.

Pomeranz, 37, recorded a 2.17 ERA with 1.07 WHIP and 57 strikeouts across 49 2/3 innings for the Chicago Cubs this year. The 2016 All-Star is a 12-year veteran.
