Kyle Tucker might be inching closer to finding a new home.

The top player available in this year's free-agent crop has met with the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, and Toronto Blue Jays, a source told Jim Duquette of MLB Network Radio.

The Blue Jays reportedly hosted Tucker at their spring training facility in Dunedin, Florida, in December and have aggressively pursued the 28-year-old despite spending $337 million to acquire Dylan Cease, Cody Ponce, Tyler Rogers, and Kazuma Okamoto this winter.

The Mets have also been linked to Tucker after trading outfielder Brandon Nimmo to the Texas Rangers. However, New York apparently prefers signing the four-time All-Star to a short-term deal with a higher annual average salary.

Until now, the Dodgers hadn't been mentioned in rumors about aggressively pursuing Tucker and were primarily linked to free-agent outfielder Cody Bellinger.

Tucker entered free agency after a solid campaign with the Chicago Cubs, slashing .266/.377/.464 with 22 home runs, 25 doubles, 73 RBIs, and 25 steals in 2025. He owns a career .865 OPS over his eight big-league seasons, seven of which came with the Houston Astros.

The 2022 World Series champion has also earned two Silver Sluggers and a Gold Glove.
