Report: Rays deal Lowe to Angels, land Lux from Reds in 3-team trade
The Los Angeles Angels are acquiring outfielder Josh Lowe from the Tampa Bay Rays in a three-team deal with the Cincinnati Reds, ESPN's Jeff Passan reports.
Infielder Gavin Lux and righty Chris Clark head to the Rays in the trade, while left-handed reliever Brock Burke goes from the Angels to the Reds.

Lowe, 27, is coming off a down year at the plate, hitting .220/.283/.366 with 11 homers and 18 steals over 108 games. From 2023-24, the slugger posted a .774 OPS with 30 home runs and 57 stolen bases in 241 contests. He's entering his first season of arbitration eligibility and won't hit free agency until after the 2028 campaign.
Lux will be joining his third franchise in three years. The 28-year-old is a traditional second baseman but has moved around the diamond, predominantly playing left field in his one season with the Reds. He posted a 269/.350/.374 slash line with five homers and one steal over 140 games last season.
Clark, who joins Lux heading to Tampa, is a right-handed pitcher who has yet to make his major-league debut. Through three seasons in the minors, the 24-year-old has a 5.25 ERA over 269 innings while making 54 starts and a pair of relief appearances.
Burke, 29, was a reliable member of the Angels' bullpen last year, owning a 3.36 ERA and 4.16 FIP over 61 2/3 innings. For his career, Burke has a 3.88 ERA and 4.26 FIP over five seasons dating back to 2019.
