Brandon Royval and Manel Kape will finally face off at UFC 317 on June 28 in Las Vegas, according to MMA Fighting's Jed Meshew.

The bout is the first reported fight of UFC 317, which will take place during International Fight Week.

The flyweight matchup was originally set to be the main event of a UFC Fight Night on March 1 before Royval withdrew due to concussions suffered in training.

Kape instead fought Asu Almabayev, defeating him via third-round TKO for his second consecutive victory. Kape has won six of his last seven bouts and is the sixth-ranked flyweight.

Royval, the No. 1-ranked contender in the 125-pound division, last fought in the Octagon in October, earning a split-decision victory over Tatsuro Taira. Royval has won two straight fights after dropping a flyweight title bout versus champion Alexandre Pantoja in late 2023. "Raw Dawg" owns a 7-3 UFC record.
