"I think we doubled down and said, 'Let's go for this thing.' And we kinda pushed all the chips in knowing that at some point, you're gonna have to have that reset. And this was the year."</p>

He was also named MVP of Super Bowl LVI.</p><p>However, Kupp has struggled with injuries since the 2021 campaign: He missed eight games in 2022, five in 2023, and another five last year.</p><p>The veteran hauled in 67 catches for 710 yards and six touchdowns in 2024, his final season in Los Angeles.</p>

<p>The Philadelphia Eagles are trading backup quarterback <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/173994" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/173994">Kenny Pickett</a> to the Cleveland Browns for quarterback <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/188280" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/188280">Dorian Thompson-Robinson</a> and a fifth-round pick, sources told <a href="https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/1899211167509229948">ESPN's Adam Schefter</a>.</p><p>Pickett spent just one season in Philadelphia as <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/105247" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/105247">Jalen Hurts</a>' backup after beginning his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.</p><p>He started one game in 2024 for an injured Hurts, also appearing in four other contests in relief. Pickett threw for 295 yards and two touchdowns against one interception while completing 59.5% of his passes.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>The 26-year-old started 24 games for the Steelers across his first two seasons after Pittsburgh drafted him in the first round in 2022. Pickett went 7-5 as a starter in both '22 and '23 before the Steelers traded him to Philadelphia ahead of the 2024 campaign.</p><p>He has a career 62.4 completion percentage with 4,765 yards and 15 touchdowns against 14 interceptions. Pickett has one year remaining on his contract at a $2.6-million cap hit, per <a href="https://overthecap.com/player/kenny-pickett/10065">Over the Cap</a>.</p><p>Thompson-Robinson started two games for the Browns this past season, going 0-2 with zero passing touchdowns and six interceptions. He went 1-3 with one passing TD and four INTs in 2023.</p><p><a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/84667" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/84667">Deshaun Watson</a> started last season at quarterback for Cleveland before tearing his Achilles in October. <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/64259" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/64259">Jameis Winston</a> also started seven games but is expected to leave the Browns as a free agent.</p><p>Watson re-ruptured his Achilles earlier this offseason and is set to miss the start of the 2025 campaign. The Browns recently <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///news/3234543" href="https://thescore.com/news/3234543">restructured</a> his contract to create $35.8 million in cap space.</p><p>Meanwhile, Thompson-Robinson is slated to back up Hurts heading into next season alongside <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/188345" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/188345">Tanner McKee</a>. Hurts has started at least 15 games every season since 2021 when the reigning Super Bowl MVP became the Eagles starter.</p>

<p>The Buffalo Bills have reached an agreement with <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/94699" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/94699">Josh Allen</a> that keeps the quarterback under contract through 2030, the team announced Sunday.</p><p>The deal is worth $330 million with an NFL-record $250 million guaranteed, sources told <a href="https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/1898879248368070905">ESPN's Adam Schefter</a>.</p><p>Allen's new $55-million average salary is tied for the second-highest league-wide, trailing only Dallas Cowboys quarterback <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/50470" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/50470">Dak Prescott</a>'s $60-million price tag, according to <a href="https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/contracts/_/sort/average/dir/desc">Spotrac</a>.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>He had previously signed a six-year, $258-million extension with the Bills in 2021.</p><p>Allen had four years and $130 million left on his existing contract, while the new deal adds two years and $200 million, per <a href="https://x.com/TomPelissero/status/1898881171007959550">NFL Network's Tom Pelissero</a>.</p><p>The 28-year-old just completed his seventh season in Buffalo, leading the Bills to the AFC East crown for the fifth straight campaign. He won NFL MVP for the first time in his career in 2024 while also being selected to his third career Pro Bowl.</p><p>Buffalo made it to the AFC Championship Game this past season, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs for the fourth time in five years.</p><p>The Bills have only missed the postseason once since drafting Allen seventh overall in 2018, his rookie campaign.</p>
