New York Knicks forward Marcus Morris has joined Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports, he announced on social media Wednesday.

The veteran was previously a client of Rich Paul's Klutch Sports, but parted ways with the prominent agent after a turbulent offseason of free-agent contract negotiations.

Morris had backed out of a two-year, $20-million deal with the San Antonio Spurs in favor of a one-year, $15-million contract with the Knicks.

The Spurs were reportedly "pissed" as the club had already dealt sharpshooter Davis Bertans and restructured their original contract agreement with forward DeMarre Carroll in order to accommodate Morris.

Morris apparently also turned down a larger offer of three years and $41 million from the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 30-year-old's brother, Markieff, and teammate Dennis Smith are also represented by Roc Nation Sports.

Morris is averaging 17.9 points and shooting 48.6% from distance across seven appearances for New York this season.
