Gobert fined $75K for inappropriate gesture toward game officials
Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert received a $75,000 fine for "making an inappropriate and unprofessional gesture that questions the integrity of the league and its game officials," the NBA announced Tuesday.
Gobert appeared to make a money sign gesture with his hands during Sunday's 115-107 Game 4 loss to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference semifinals.

The NBA considered Gobert's history of improper conduct toward refs when assessing his punishment. In March, the league docked Gobert $100,000 for making a money sign after he fouled out of a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and publicly criticized officials.
Gobert won his fourth Defensive Player of the Year this season. Over seven postseason games this year, Gobert is averaging 11.9 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and a block in 34 minutes per contest.
The Nuggets host the Timberwolves for Game 5 on Tuesday evening.
