Stephon Castle and Team C are heading to the All-Star Game after the San Antonio Spurs rookie scored a dozen points to lead his team to victory in the Rising Stars final against the G League squad.

Team C - coached by Golden State Warriors icon Chris Mullin - progressed to the final courtesy of a semifinal win over Tim Hardaway Sr.'s Team T. Jeremy Lin's team comprised of G League standouts stunned Mitch Richmond's Team M in the other semi.

Castle and Co. will be coached by WNBA legend Candace Parker during Sunday's All-Star Game mini-tournament. They'll face Shaquille O'Neal's OGs in the semifinal of the four-team tourney.

The Cleveland Cavaliers' Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell won this year's revamped Skills Challenge. They beat the Golden State Warriors duo of Draymond Green and Moses Moody in the final round. However, the San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul stole the headlines by getting disqualified for attempting to "hack" the event.

Three-Point Contest

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro won the Three-Point Contest, scoring 24 points to defeat the Warriors' Buddy Hield and Cavs' Darius Garland in the final. Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard was hoping to claim his third consecutive 3-point crown but didn't make it out of the first round.

The NBA has decided upon another format change for the league's marquee event, opting for a four-team mini-tournament over an East-West clash or player-led drafts. The rules are similar to the Rising Stars event, except the championship-winning team will have to reach that 40-point threshold in both games played. The winning team from Friday's Rising Stars event will face a squad named after Shaquille O'Neal in one semifinal contest, while Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith's teams will duke it out in the other.
