The Phoenix Suns signed Devin Booker to a two-year, $145-million max contract extension through the 2029-30 campaign, his agents told ESPN's Shams Charania.

The deal carries the highest annual salary for an extension in NBA history, adds Charania.

Booker had three seasons remaining on his existing deal, but was eligible for an extension July 6.

Phoenix selected Booker with the No. 13 pick in 2015. The Kentucky product has spent his entire career with the franchise, developing into a four-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA selection.

Booker led the Suns to their third Finals appearance in franchise history four years ago. The 28-year-old is the club's all-time leader in points and 3-pointers.

He averaged 25.6 points and a career-high 7.1 assists across 75 appearances last season.
