Magic's Suggs ejected from win over 76ers after skirmish
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs was ejected with 26.6 seconds left in the first half of Tuesday's lopsided 144-103 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers after getting assessed two technical fouls during one play.
Following a minor altercation at the top of the arc between centers Wendell Carter Jr. and Andre Drummond, Suggs escalated tensions by shoving Drummond, sparking a renewed scuffle that coaches and officials initially seemed to have under control. However, forward Jabari Walker then confronted Suggs before Magic coaches pulled the guard away.

Drummond and Walker each received a technical foul, as did Carter and Magic guard Desmond Bane.
Orlando led by 24 during the incident and finished with 86 points before halftime, setting a new franchise record for the most points in any half. Third-year guard Anthony Black played a large part in the Magic's offensive explosion, posting 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting (4-of-5 from deep) through the first two quarters. Black finished with a game-high 31 points.
The victory moves the Magic to 3-0 in the NBA Cup and top spot in Group B, while the 76ers fall to 0-3 and are officially eliminated from contention.
