Kidd fires back at criticism over Flagg usage at PG: 'I don't give a f--k'

Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd went on the offensive after being asked about his usage of Cooper Flagg at point guard, calling the national media's criticism "bullshit."
"Criticism? That's your opinion," Kidd told reporters following the Mavericks' 111-107 loss to the Houston Rockets on Saturday, according to Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com. "You guys write that bullshit. I've done this. I've played this game. I played it at a very high level. I know what the f--k I'm doing."
Kidd, a Hall of Fame point guard, featured the 6-foot-9 Flagg as his primary ball-handler to begin the season. He's gone back to that look recently, and Flagg has rewarded him with some of the best performances of his rookie season.
"I don't give a f--k what you guys write because you guys have never played the game," Kidd added. "I build players, so I know what the f--k I'm doing. So if I take criticism, it only makes me better, because if I wasn't doing it right, you guys wouldn't be poking holes in what I've done."
Kidd abruptly walked off following his rant.

The Mavericks have lost four in a row, but Flagg, who was drafted as a small forward, had 34 points against the Rockets and 49 in a loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday. The 49-point output was the highest-scoring game by a teenager in league history.
The 19-30 Mavericks are currently 11th in the Western Conference. Flagg is averaging 19.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists.
