Philadelphia 76ers star guard Tyrese Maxey has a tendon injury in his right pinky finger and will be re-evaluated in three weeks, sources told Shams Charania of ESPN.
Maxey hurt his finger during Saturday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks. Initial X-rays revealed no fractures in his hand.
However, additional imaging and specialist reviews diagnosed the tendon injury, according to Charania.
Maxey, who sprained the same pinky last season, is averaging a career-high 29 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.7 assists in 61 games during the 2025-26 campaign.
Philadelphia (34-30) sits eighth in the Eastern Conference.
