Tennessee's Iamaleava questionable vs. Georgia
Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava is listed as questionable on Wednesday's injury report for Saturday's matchup against Georgia.
Iamaleava is reportedly in concussion protocol after leaving last week's victory over Mississippi State. He remained in the locker room for the second half and returned to the field when the game was over.
The 20-year-old has been practicing with the team over the last two days.
"Nico has been good here in the early part of the week," head coach Josh Heupel said Wednesday, according to Mike Wilson of the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Heupel also told reporters Monday that the young signal-caller is in "great shape" to suit up Saturday. The redshirt freshman has started every game for the Volunteers in 2024.
Iamaleava's thrown for 1,879 yards with 11 touchdowns and four interceptions this season.
