Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin expects the legendary Nick Saban to come out ot retirement and return to the sidelines at some point.

"I don't think he's done," Kiffin said of Saban at SEC media days Monday, according to Sam Hutchens of the Mississippi Clarion Ledger. Kiffin added: "He'll be back. Whether that's college or NFL, I think he'll be back."

Saban retired at the end of the 2023 season as arguably the greatest coach in college football history. The 73-year-old won six titles across 17 seasons at Alabama. He also led LSU to a national championship earlier in his career.

Saban also spent time in the NFL, notably serving as Miami Dolphins head coach from 2005-06.

He joined ESPN as an analyst for College GameDay after calling it a career in January 2024.

Kiffin served as Saban's assistant on the Crimson Tide, working as offensive coordinator from 2014-16. They won the 2015 national title together.
