The Baltimore Ravens have put defensive tackle Brandon Williams on the COVID-19 list, the team officially announced Saturday.

Williams reportedly did not test positive for the virus but was in close contact with an infected individual, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The veteran nose tackle is the first player the Ravens have placed on the COVID-19 list since the start of the regular season.

Williams has been a consistent run clogger for the Ravens' defense, starting 93 games for the team since 2015. The 31-year-old has recorded 270 tackles and 6.5 sacks over his career.

Baltimore's defensive line will likely also be without Derek Wolfe - who is listed as doubtful due to a neck/concussion issue - for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
