Buffalo Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper is ruled out for the team's matchup against the New England Patriots due to a personal matter, the club announced Saturday.

Cooper was listed on the team's injury report with a back ailment Thursday and Friday, but he wasn't given an injury designation for Buffalo's regular-season finale.

The 30-year-old has caught 20 of 32 targets for 297 yards and two touchdowns in eight games since he was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Bills earlier this season.

Buffalo is locked in as the AFC's No. 2 seed entering Sunday's contest. The Patriots will maintain their hold on the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft with a loss.
