The Cincinnati Bengals may not be done handing out extensions.

Cincinnati is working toward a new deal for defensive end Trey Hendrickson after the Bengals star was granted permission to seek a trade, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The report comes after the Bengals made Ja'Marr Chase the highest-paid non-quarterback in the league with a four-year, $161-million extension. Tee Higgins also got paid, securing a four-year, $115-million deal.

Hendrickson led the NFL with 17.5 sacks last season and is projected to earn a salary close to $30 million per season after Myles Garrett and Maxx Crosby each landed new deals north of $35.5 million per year this offseason.

Hendrickson has one year remaining on his current contract that will see him earn a base salary of $15.8 million in 2025, per Over the Cap. The Bengals have $23.9 million in cap space ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The All-Pro pass-rusher has reportedly drawn interest from several teams while the Bengals work toward securing a deal for the disgruntled defensive stalwart. The Indianapolis Colts are among the interested clubs, per Rapoport. Hendrickson previously played under defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, who holds the same role with the Colts.

The Atlanta Falcons and Washington Commanders have also been monitoring Hendrickson's situation with Cincinnati, Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz reported earlier this month.

The 30-year-old edge rusher has racked up double-digit sacks in three of his four seasons with the Bengals. He's posted 155 tackles, 57 sacks, and 53 tackles for loss since joining the AFC North club prior to the 2021 season.
