Atiabi said the comment left her emotionally distressed.</p><p>McCathern denied that Nacua made the remark but admitted that his client bit Atiabi in an act of "horseplay," per Lewis.</p><p>A hearing is scheduled for April 14, according to <a href="https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/48306031/rams-puka-nacua-sued-alleged-antisemitic-remark-bite">ESPN's Sarah Barshop</a>. Like, that's bullshit that the Hockey Hall of Fame has it, in my opinion. Why would they have that puck?" He added that he underwent a physical and an MRI the following day but didn't speak with Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta until he was about to leave.</p><p>"I thought I was going to see (DeCosta) when I first got there," Crosby said, according to <a href="https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/48234425/raiders-crosby-nixed-trade-where-supposed-be">ESPN's Ryan McFadden</a>. "I don't know why. I'm not going to speculate. He just made the trade, and I didn't see him for five hours."</p><p>Crosby also said that he sensed that the energy felt off inside the Ravens' facility. He added that he was terrified when DeCosta informed him that a team doctor had concerns about his surgically repaired knee and wanted additional medical opinions.</p><p>The five-time Pro Bowler said he returned to his hotel room and spoke with his agents, CJ LaBoy and Doug Hendrickson, who believed Baltimore might cancel the trade. Crosby said he later spoke with a member of the Ravens' staff, who told him the team still planned to get the deal done.</p><p>Shortly after talking with the Ravens staffer, Crosby said one of his agents told him that Baltimore called off the trade.</p><p>"I'm like 'Holy shit,'" Crosby said. "I told (LaBoy), 'I'm trying to get out of here.'"</p><p>DeCosta recently said the decision to rescind the deal left him "<a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///news/3497565" href="https://thescore.com/news/3497565">gutted</a>."</p><p>"I've got a responsibility to the Ravens, to this community, to our fans, and to (team owner) Steve Bisciotti to do what we think is best for the club. And that's what we always try to do," DeCosta said.</p><p>Crosby's surgeon, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, said the veteran defender is doing well in the early part of surgery following a significant meniscus tear and related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. The menacing pass-rusher is expected to be ready for training camp in July.</p><p>Despite releasing an emotional goodbye video to Raiders nation, Crosby said he's ready for an eighth campaign with Las Vegas.</p><p>"I'm here. I'm meant to be a Raider," Crosby said. "I'm in this shit for life until that changes, which I don't foresee, but you never know in this damn league."</p>

<p>The Minnesota Vikings are signing quarterback <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/97952" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/97952">Kyler Murray</a> to a one-year contract, his agent told <a href="https://x.com/TomPelissero/status/2032219960630530461?s=20">NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport</a>.</p><p>The agreement includes a no-tag clause, which will allow the 28-year-old to become a free agent in 2027. Murray is expected to earn $36.8 million this season, with the Arizona Cardinals paying all but the minimum salary of $1.3 million in 2026. </p><p>The first overall pick in the 2019 draft, Murray was released by the Cardinals on Wednesday after seven seasons. The Heisman Trophy winner flourished in his rookie campaign with the Cardinals, winning the league's Offensive Rookie of the Year honor.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Murray struggled to lead Arizona to sustained success throughout his tenure. He made only one playoff appearance, falling short in the NFC wild-card round to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021.</p><p>Murray joins a quarterback room that includes 2024 first-round pick <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/199765" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/199765">J.J. McCarthy</a>. The 23-year-old passer has just 10 starts over two seasons due to injuries, including a torn right meniscus that caused him to miss the entirety of the 2024 season.</p><p>It's unclear if head coach Kevin O'Connell will hold an open competition to name a starter ahead of the 2026 season. </p><p>Murray was limited to five games in 2025 after sustaining a foot injury. The dynamic dual-threat quarterback expects that he'll be ready to go when his number is called next season.</p><p>"I'm just grateful for the opportunity," Murray said when asked if he expects to be the starter, per <a href="https://x.com/TCNGrantGordon/status/2032228069222801740?s=20">NFL.com's Grant Gordon</a>. "I look forward to coming in and competing."</p><p>Murray has passed for 20,460 yards, 121 touchdowns, and 60 interceptions during his tenure with the Cardinals. He's one of five players in NFL history to throw for more than 20,000 yards and rush for more than 3,000 yards through seven seasons.</p>
