<p>The Cincinnati Bengals may not be done handing out extensions. </p><p>Cincinnati is working toward a new deal for defensive end <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/72083" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/72083">Trey Hendrickson</a> after the Bengals star was granted permission to seek a trade, according to <a href="https://x.com/PatMcAfeeShow/status/1904223491005534440">NFL Network's Ian Rapoport</a>.</p><p>The report comes after the Bengals made <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/161655" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/161655">Ja'Marr Chase</a> the highest-paid non-quarterback in the league with a four-year, $161-million extension. <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/115870" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/115870">Tee Higgins</a> also got paid, securing a four-year, $115-million deal.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Hendrickson led the NFL with 17.5 sacks last season and is projected to earn a salary close to $30 million per season after <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/87669" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/87669">Myles Garrett</a> and <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/100596" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/100596">Maxx Crosby</a> each landed new deals north of $35.5 million per year this offseason.</p><p>Hendrickson has one year remaining on his current contract that will see him earn a base salary of $15.8 million in 2025, per <a href="https://overthecap.com/player/trey-hendrickson/5689">Over the Cap</a>. The Bengals have $23.9 million in cap space ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.</p><p>The All-Pro pass-rusher has reportedly drawn interest from several teams while the Bengals work toward securing a deal for the disgruntled defensive stalwart. The Indianapolis Colts are among the interested clubs, per Rapoport. Hendrickson previously played under defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, who holds the same role with the Colts.</p><p>The Atlanta Falcons and Washington Commanders have also been monitoring Hendrickson's situation with Cincinnati, <a href="https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/1897754589719331043">Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz</a> reported earlier this month. </p><p>The 30-year-old edge rusher has racked up double-digit sacks in three of his four seasons with the Bengals. He's posted 155 tackles, 57 sacks, and 53 tackles for loss since joining the AFC North club prior to the 2021 season.</p><p> </p>

It'd be maybe seven or eight."</p><p>Nacua plans to have a large family and shared that he'd like to follow the path taken by former teammate and legend <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/43119" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/43119">Aaron Donald</a>. The Ravens won the AFC North with a 12-5 record before falling to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs.</p>

He couldn't expand his role during the Chiefs' run to Super Bowl LIX, hauling in just five passes for 50 yards in three postseason contests.</p><p>Brown lamented the lackluster impression he made on the team and its fans.</p><p>"No, I didn't really," Brown said when asked if he had the chance to show his true potential last season. "Except the people in the building, my teammates, my coaches - they carried me a long way. They know the type of guy I am, the type of work I put in. Essentially, that's one of the reasons I got brought back."</p><p>Brown cited the club's atmosphere as a factor in his decision to return.</p><p>"For the first time in my career, I was getting where I wanted to be. Every day, coming to work, getting better," Brown said.</p><p>The Chiefs are the former first-round pick's third team following three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and two with the Arizona Cardinals.</p>

<p>Head coach Deion Sanders is looking to shake up Colorado's spring game this year by forgoing the intrasquad scrimmage in favor of the Buffaloes playing a different program.</p><p>"Actually, I would like to play against another team in the spring. That's what I'm trying to do right now, to have it be competitive," Sanders <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogj3L9zDX3A">said</a>. "Playing against your own guys kind of gets monotonous, and you really can't tell the levels of your guys because it's the same old, same old. Everybody kind of knows each other toward the end."</p><p>Sanders' preference to change the spring game format comes as several schools nationwide are nixing it. Ohio State, Texas, and USC are among the many teams that are replacing the traditional scrimmage this year with a different event.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>While some teams have opted not to hold a spring game to maintain a competitive advantage, Sanders said he's advocating for spring practices to reflect the NFL's training camp model, where clubs typically conduct joint practices.</p><p>Sanders added that he doesn't believe schools are ending the spring game because of concerns about other teams poaching their players before the spring transfer window.</p><p>"Everybody's moving to stop spring games, I don't know why. You're not gonna stop nobody from leaving your program by not having a spring game," Sanders said. "If you wanna save money, just say that."</p><p>However, given the growing uncertainty around spring games, Sanders called on Colorado's fan base to cram the stadium for the Buffaloes' April 19 scrimmage.</p><p>"We've got to sell this thing out and pack this thing because the way the trend is going, you never know if this is going to be the last spring game," Sanders said.</p><p>Syracuse head coach Fran Brown is ready to take Sanders up on his request.</p><p>"We will come to Boulder for three days," Brown <a href="https://x.com/FranBrownCuse/status/1901743011467239532">posted</a> on X in response to Sanders' preference of practicing against another team this spring. They've also trained together in prior offseasons.</p><p>Henry and Jackson enjoyed a successful first season together in 2024, helping the club to a 12-5 record. Henry finished the season tied for the NFL lead with 16 rushing scores to go along with 1,921 yards. Hunt ran for 728 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 contests (eight starts) last season, averaging 56 rushing yards per game.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Hunt rejoined the Chiefs last season for his second stint with the franchise after the club drafted him in the third round in 2017. Carolina signed Hubbard to a four-year, $33.2-million extension amid a career-best 1,195 yards and 10 TDs last season.
