Toe injury limits Giants' Nabers at OTAs
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is limited in the team's OTAs because of a lingering toe injury, coach Brian Daboll told reporters, including ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
The team is taking extra precautions to make sure the second-year wideout is ready for training camp. Daboll noted the injury was nothing serious, but Nabers has been dealing with it since his time at LSU, per Fox Sports' Ralph Vacchiano.
Nabers established himself as one of the NFL's standout rookies after being selected sixth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. The 21-year-old broke numerous NFL records in his inaugural season, including the most receptions by a rookie wide receiver and tying former Giant Odell Beckham Jr. for the fastest to reach 100 receptions.
Nabers finished the season with a Pro Bowl nod, tallying 1,204 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. The wideout missed two games because of a concussion.
