The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and cornerback Zyon McCollum agreed to a three-year extension worth $48 million, his agents told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The deal includes $35.4 million guaranteed and keeps him under contract through the 2028 campaign.
A fifth-round pick in 2022, the Sam Houston State product has developed into a starting-caliber cornerback in the Tampa Bay secondary. McCollum started 17 games for the Buccaneers last year and grabbed the first two interceptions of his career.
He's expected to open the 2025 season as a starter alongside cornerback Jamel Dean.
