The San Francisco 49ers' injury woes continue.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan announced Monday that quarterback Brock Purdy is uncertain for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints due to injuries to his left shoulder and toe, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Shanahan added that tight end George Kittle will miss multiple weeks due to a hamstring injury. Kittle could land on injured reserve, as he's expected to miss three-to-five weeks, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Purdy's toe injury is a bigger concern, Shanahan noted.

"We're not sure. We'll see how it heals and how the week goes," the sideline boss said about his quarterback, according to The Associated Press' Josh Dubow.

Shanahan also announced that receiver Jauan Jennings' shoulder MRI came back clean. The team is still evaluating his status for Week 2.

Kittle and Jennings were unable to finish Sunday's 17-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Purdy played the entire game, completing 26 of 35 pass attempts for 277 yards and two touchdowns against two interceptions. San Francisco will turn to Mac Jones under center if Purdy misses time.

The Niners reunited with Kendrick Bourne on Monday, signing the veteran wideout to a one-year contract. The club is already missing its top wide receiver, Brandon Aiyuk, who's still recovering from a torn ACL.

Shanahan also had an injury scare with running back Christian McCaffrey, who was a surprise addition to the injury report last week due to a calf issue. However, McCaffrey played versus the Seahawks, leading the team with 31 touches.

Tight ends Jake Tonges and Luke Farrell will presumably have an increased workload with Kittle sidelined. Tonges caught his first career touchdown against Seattle.
