Report: Browns' Judkins to make NFL debut vs. Ravens
Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins is expected to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, sources told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
The rookie only signed with the team last week after missing training camp as the club awaited a resolution following his July arrest in South Florida on charges of misdemeanor battery and domestic violence. Prosecutors declined to pursue a case against Judkins.
He could still be disciplined by the NFL. The league is reviewing the situation and met with the former Ohio State standout this week in New York.
Judkins practiced with the team this week after missing Cleveland's season-opening loss to Cincinnati. He was officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Baltimore, but head coach Kevin Stefanski said the 21-year-old has done "everything we've asked him to do up to this point," according to Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.
Judkins, selected 36th overall, was the last member of this year's draft class to sign his contract.
His insertion into the lineup would provide a significant boost for a Browns offense that generated just 49 total rushing yards in Week 1.
