Report: Graham considering coming out of retirement to sign with Eagles
Edge rusher Brandon Graham is considering coming out of retirement to rejoin the Philadelphia Eagles, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report.
Graham, who called it quits after a 15-year run in Philly, could return to the team as soon as this week, Rapoport adds.
The veteran pass-rusher secured his second Lombardi Trophy last season and was a key defensive player during the 2024 season. He racked up 20 tackles, seven quarterback hits, and 3.5 sacks in 11 games. Graham suffered a torn triceps in early December and returned against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl after missing nine consecutive contests.
Philadelphia is in need of edge rusher help after Za'Darius Smith retired last week. Nolan Smith, who racked up 10.5 sacks in 20 games last year, is on injured reserve and not expected back until at least Week 10. The Eagles have struggled to get after the quarterback this campaign, tied for 25th with nine sacks heading into Week 7.
Graham, 37, was selected in the first round of the 2010 draft. The Michigan product has 126 tackles for loss and 76.5 sacks in 206 career games.
