Report: Bills fear Oliver has torn bicep
The Buffalo Bills are worried that defensive tackle Ed Oliver tore his bicep and will be sidelined indefinitely, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Oliver is undergoing an MRI on Monday, Schefter adds.
He suffered the injury in Sunday's 40-9 win over the Carolina Panthers and was unable to finish the game.
The 27-year-old also missed time earlier this season with an ankle issue. However, Oliver has been a force when on the field. He's produced three sacks, seven tackles for loss, and one forced fumble in three games played this year.
The injury bug has feasted on the Bills at defensive tackle. In addition to Oliver, DaQuan Jones has missed the last two weeks with a calf injury and T.J. Sanders is on injured reserve with a knee injury.
The Bills are 5-2 and their defense ranks ninth in points allowed (20.9 points per game).
