Tests confirmed that Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers, sidelining him for the rest of the season, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Kraft was carted to the locker room after suffering the injury. He'd caught three passes for 20 yards before exiting.
Kraft was one of football's hottest tight ends this year, having collected 469 yards and six touchdowns on 30 receptions. He posted a monster performance on Sunday Night Football last week with 143 yards and two TDs.
Luke Musgrave will presumably step up as TE1 in Kraft's absence. Musgrave, the Packers' second-round pick in 2023, has caught nine passes this season, including three against the Panthers.
