Report: Eagles' Carter, Johnson expected to return Week 17
Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter and offensive tackle Lane Johnson are both expected to return Week 17 against the Buffalo Bills, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Carter has missed the last two contests after undergoing a procedure on his shoulders. He's been dealing with the ailments throughout the year, and wanted to get the procedure done to be healthy for a playoff run.
The 24-year-old has recorded 32 tackles, 11 quarterback hits, and two sacks over 10 games this season. His 27 pressures are tied with Moro Ojomo for the most among Philly defensive tackles, according to Next Gen Stats.
Johnson, 35, hasn't played since mid-November after suffering a Lisfranc sprain against the Detroit Lions in Week 11. The six-time Pro Bowler has allowed seven pressures with zero sacks on 262 pass-blocking snaps in 2025, according to PFF.
The 10-5 Eagles clinched the NFC East division Saturday after a 29-18 victory over the Washington Commanders.
