Report: Raiders placing Bowers on IR
The Las Vegas Raiders are placing Pro Bowl tight end Brock Bowers on injured reserve, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Bowers, who's dealt with a knee injury since Week 1, will miss Las Vegas' final two games of the season, including Sunday's matchup against the New York Giants. The loser of Giants-Raiders will take the lead for the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Bowers finishes the 2025 campaign with 64 catches for 680 yards and seven touchdowns.
The 23-year-old has already established himself as one of the NFL's premier tight ends after earning a first-team All-Pro berth as a rookie in 2024.
With Bowers sidelined, Michael Mayer will presumably serve as Las Vegas' leading tight end.
The Raiders will also place safety Jeremy Chinn on injured reserve due to a back injury, according to Pelissero.
