The Buffalo Bills have expressed interest in signing free-agent pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson, sources told Ryan Talbot of Syracuse.com.

Hendrickson has spoken with multiple teams, but none have been willing to meet his asking price, and he's remained firm on his demands, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The 31-year-old is coming off an injury-riddled season in which he recorded four sacks in seven games. However, the former Bengals defensive end has been one of the most productive pass-rushers in recent years, with his 61 sacks since 2021 ranking behind only T.J. Watt, Myles Garrett, and Micah Parsons.

Hendrickson has spent the last five seasons in Cincinnati and was involved in multiple contract disputes with the organization over the last few years. He ultimately agreed to play the 2025 season on a one-year deal worth up to $30 million with incentives.

Buffalo is set to enter its first year under new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard after the organization fired head coach Sean McDermott. Three of the team's top four sack leaders from last season - Joey Bosa, Matt Milano, and DaQuan Jones - are all unrestricted free agents. The Bills recorded only three quarterback hits in their divisional-round loss to the Denver Broncos and finished 21st in total pressures in the regular season.

The Bills are currently $11.5 million over the salary cap, according to Spotrac, but can free up around $17 million by adjusting D.J. Moore's contract when the trade goes through Wednesday. Buffalo also has other contracts on the books that it can rework to create cap space.
