Hughes brothers grace cover of NHL 25
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes and his younger brothers, Jack and Luke of the New Jersey Devils, will feature on the cover of NHL 25, EA Sports announced Thursday.
The Hughes are the first siblings on the cover of an EA Sports game.
"We feel incredibly honored to be on the cover of NHL 25," Quinn said. "Being featured alongside my brothers is the sort of thing you dream about as a kid but could never imagine happening in real life."
Quinn, 24, is the reigning Norris Trophy winner after a 17-goal, 92-point campaign with the Canucks last season. He's the first Vancouver player to feature on the cover since Markus Naslund was on NHL 2005.
Jack, 23, tallied 27 goals and 74 points in 62 games. He set a career high with 43 goals and 99 points in the previous campaign.
"It was a very proud moment for all of us when we saw the 'Deluxe' cover," Jack said. "It reminded us that on the ice, we're competitors, always learning from each other, but off the ice, we're brothers who love to play hockey."
Luke, 20, finished third in Calder Trophy voting with nine goals and 47 points.
"Being on the cover with my brothers is incredibly exciting," Luke said. "We have a one-of-a-kind hockey story growing up together and now a one-of-a-kind cover."
Jack and Luke are the first Devils players on the cover since Martin Brodeur for NHL 14.
NHL 25 launches Oct. 4.
