Trent Frederic made his Edmonton Oilers debut Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings.

Frederic had been sidelined since Feb. 25 with a lower-body injury. The Oilers acquired the forward from the Boston Bruins on March 4 for second and fourth-round picks, as well as prospects Shane LaChance and Max Wanner.

The 27-year-old tallied eight goals, 15 points and 44 penalty minutes in 57 games with the Bruins this season. Frederic netted a career-high 18 goals and 40 points last year.

Frederic played on a line with Adam Henrique and Zach Hyman.

The Oilers are without star forwards Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl because of injuries.
