Marchand trolls other teams for helping Panthers assemble roster
Brad Marchand is a pest off the ice, too.
The Florida Panthers forward celebrated his Stanley Cup triumph by trolling all of his teammates' former teams on his Instagram story Thursday night. Marchand posted pictures of his teammates, tagging and thanking each player's ex-employer for letting them go.

Highlights include "Thanks for the MVP," directed toward the Calgary Flames for Conn Smythe winner Sam Bennett, and "Mr. Waivers," about defenseman Gustav Forsling, who the Panthers plucked off the wire from the Carolina Hurricanes in 2021.
In total, Marchand showed his appreciation to 18 different clubs across the NHL, AHL, and even ECHL. He also gave a shoutout to former Panthers general manager Dale Tallon, who drafted Aleksander Barkov and Aaron Ekblad.
The Panthers acquired Marchand before the trade deadline from the Boston Bruins for a conditional first-round pick. He notched 10 goals and 20 points in 23 games during the postseason en route to Florida's second straight Cup.
