Seattle Kraken defenseman Brandon Montour is expected to be out for approximately four weeks after undergoing hand surgery, the team announced Monday. He has been placed on injured reserve.
Montour missed the Kraken's last two games after being injured during a scrum in a Dec. 16 contest against the Colorado Avalanche.
The 31-year-old has scored six goals and added 10 assists in 27 games this season.
In Montour's absence, Josh Mahura re-entered the lineup after sitting out most of November.
