Point sustains apparent knee injury after scoring goal vs. Flyers
Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brayden Point didn't return to Monday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers due to an undisclosed injury, the team announced.
Point threw off his gloves and grabbed at his right knee after scoring a power-play goal. He was helped off the ice.

Lightning head coach Jon Cooper offered no update postgame but did say that Point will travel with the team to Pittsburgh, according to the Tampa Bay Times' Eduardo A. Encina.
Point was named to Canada's Olympic team. He was one of the initial six players named to the roster, and he featured on Canada's first line in the 4 Nations Face-Off championship game in February. The men's tournament begins Feb. 11.
The 29-year-old has 10 goals and 29 points in 36 appearances. Point's been hot of late after a slower start to the campaign. He had seven goals and 18 points in his last 14 contests entering Monday's game.
Point has eclipsed 40 goals and 80 points each of the past three seasons. He notched a career-high 51 goals and 95 points in 2022-23.
The Lightning are second in the Atlantic Division with a 27-13-3 record.
