Poulin unsure if Milan Cortina was her final Olympics
Marie-Philip Poulin is undecided on whether Thursday's crushing overtime loss to the United States was the final game of her storied Olympic career.
"I'll be in the present and go from there," Poulin said after winning her second silver medal in five Olympic appearances, per CBC's Claire Hanna.
Poulin, 34, captained Canada for the third consecutive Olympics and registered three goals and an assist in five games. She missed two contests after suffering a lower-body injury in Canada's tournament opener.
She broke Hayley Wickenheiser's all-time Canadian Olympic goal record at the event, setting the new mark at 20, and was named to the tournament All-Star team.
Poulin is under contract with the PWHL's Montreal Victoire through the 2027-28 campaign. The 2030 Winter Games are scheduled to take place in the French Alps.
Poulin is one of the most decorated Olympians in Canadian history, with three gold medals and two silvers. She's notched 39 points in 27 career Olympic contests and scored the winning goal in three gold-medal games.
Poulin commended Canada's effort in the final.
"Very proud of this group. We showed up, we played hard until the end. Sadly, we came up short," she said, per TSN.
