The Liberty guard joins Chicago Sky legend Allie Quigley as the only players to win multiple Three-Point Contests. Ionescu's win also secured an All-Star Friday sweep for New York after Natasha Cloud won the Skills Challenge earlier.
Washington Mystics rookie Sonia Citron, Los Angeles Sparks veteran Kelsey Plum, and Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull also participated in Friday's main event. Hull was selected as a last-minute replacement for teammate Caitlin Clark after the Fever star had to bow out of the weekend's festivities with a groin injury.
