Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will make his season debut Sunday against the Houston Rockets after missing the opening two contests due to injury, the four-time All-Star told ESPN's Kendra Andrews.

Green, 33, suffered an ankle sprain during a pickup game in early October that ruled him out for the entire training camp and preseason, in addition to regular-season matchups with the Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings.

The four-time NBA champion also missed a portion of the preseason ahead of the 2022-23 campaign when he took a leave of absence after punching then-teammate Jordan Poole in the face during a practice.

Green penned a four-year, $100-million contract with the Warriors in the offseason, extending his tenure with the organization that selected him 35th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft.

The Warriors will look to improve to 2-1 when they visit the Rockets on Sunday after the team topped the Kings 122-114 on Friday in Sacramento behind a 41-point display from Steph Curry.
