Portland Trail Blazers guard Matisse Thybulle is opting into his $11.5-million player option for the 2025-26 season, sources told NBA insider Chris Haynes.
The decision comes after injuries limited him to 15 games this past campaign. Thybulle averaged a career-high 7.5 points per contest in 2024-25, along with 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists. The two-time NBA All-Defensive Second Team selection also registered 2.2 steals per contest.
Thybulle has spent the past three seasons with the Trail Blazers, who acquired him as part of a February 2023 trade.
The 28-year-old previously played four campaigns for the Philadelphia 76ers, establishing himself as an elite perimeter defender.
