The Chicago Bulls are acquiring Jaden Ivey and Mike Conley in a three-team trade involving the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Detroit is receiving Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric as well as a 2026 first-round protected swap from Minnesota, adds Charania.

The Pistons drafted Ivey fifth overall in 2022. The 6-foot-3 guard was having a breakout 2024-25 campaign, averaging career bests in points (17.6 per game) and 3-point percentage (40.9%). However, he broke his left fibula and missed the remainder of the season.

Ivey has yet to recapture that form this season. He's averaging a career-low 8.2 points in 16.8 minutes over 33 appearances.

Conley was a key starter for the Timberwolves over the previous three seasons before shifting to his current bench role. The veteran guard is averaging career lows across the boards, including points (4.4 per game), assists (2.9), and minutes (18.5).

Huerter gives the Pistons a proven sharpshooter after losing Tim Hardaway Jr. and Malik Beasley during the offseason. The 27-year-old is averaging 10.9 points this campaign and is a career 37.1% 3-point shooter.

Detroit ranks 27th in the NBA with 11.1 threes made per contest.

The Sacramento Kings recently dealt Saric to the Bulls as part of the De'Andre Hunter multi-team swap. The former No. 12 overall pick never made an appearance for Chicago.

All four players involved in the multi-team trade are on expiring contracts.

Minnesota's luxury-tax bill drops from $24 million to $3.8 million following the deal, per ESPN's Bobby Marks. The team is now under the first apron and $3.8 million above the tax, adds Marks.

The T-Wolves' tax savings and open roster spot will aid their pursuit of a "Milwaukee star," according to Charania.
