X map shows Oilers edge Panthers in fan support for Stanley Cup Final

The Edmonton Oilers not only have most of Canada cheering them on in the Stanley Cup Final, but a large portion of the United States, too, according to new X data.
A map created by BetOnline.ag based on over 110,000 geotagged tweets gathered since Sunday shows fans in all 10 Canadian provinces and 22 states across the U.S. are rooting for the Oilers to win the Stanley Cup. The Florida Panthers are favored in 28 states.

The Oilers last won the Cup in 1990, while the Panthers are seeking their first championship.
Game 1 of the final gets underway Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
