The Buffalo Bills signed safety Micah Hyde to their practice squad, the club announced Wednesday.

Hyde started 14 games for the Bills in 2023 but hasn't played this year.

Taylor Rapp, Damar Hamlin, and 2024 second-rounder Cole Bishop are the only safeties on Buffalo's active roster.

The 33-year-old suited up for the Bills between 2017-23 after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers. He's tallied 644 total tackles, 66 pass deflections, and 24 interceptions in 158 career games.

Buffalo's next two contests are cross-conference matchups against the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions. The team plays the New England Patriots twice and the New York Jets once over the final three weeks of the regular season. The Bills will need to elevate Hyde or sign him to the active roster for the veteran to play in those games.
