SNF bets: Daniels returns to host streaking Seahawks
The Commanders host the Seahawks as two NFC teams with playoff aspirations meet on Sunday Night Football. So far, Seattle is playing above expectations with its 5-2 record, while Washington is off to a rocky 3-5 start, hampered by Jayden Daniels' inability to stay on the field.
We have you covered with our pick against the spread, player props, and players to find the end zone for Sunday night's showdown.

π Pick: Commanders (+2.5)
Daniels has not looked nearly the same as the quarterback who wowed the NFL in his rookie season. He's been held out of action with knee and hamstring injuries, but he still gives the Commanders a better chance to win than backup Marcus Mariota.
Although Terry McLaurin is also out, at least Daniels will have Deebo Samuel. Daniels' presence also opens up the Commanders' rushing attack because opposing defenses have to respect the quarterback's ability to keep the ball and take off.
The Seahawks are a solid, well-rounded team. Sam Darnold is living up to the contract he was awarded in the offseason, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba may be the best receiver in the league. Their defense is also very stout, giving up the fewest rushing yards per game. But desperation is beginning to set in for the Commanders, and pressure is mounting for Daniels to deliver a performance that turns his team's season around. Give me the home underdog under the bright lights.

π Bet: Over 6.5 receptions
Smith-Njigba is on an absolute heater this season, and he has three straight eight-reception games coming into Sunday. He's only gone under this number twice this season. Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in receiving yards despite already having his bye and has earned 70 targets from Darnold, 36 of them over his last three games.
π Bet: Over 5.5 receptions
Samuel has been dealing with a heel injury but isn't in danger of missing this game. He's caught six or more passes in four of seven games this season, and Daniels should look his way plenty without McLaurin in the lineup.
π Bet: Under 40.5 rushing yards
Daniels is returning from a hamstring injury and tweaked his knee earlier in the season. He hasn't been running as much this year, with only two games of 40 or more rushing yards. Expecting him to come back with two potentially lingering leg injuries and rush as much as he did last season would be a mistake.

NFL news editor Brenden Deeg will provide touchdown scorer props all season long.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+140)
Seattle's defense has been solid this season, but it can be exploited when it comes to covering tight ends. The Seahawks are bottom 10 in targets, receptions, and yards allowed to the position, giving Ertz a great matchup. Daniels is returning as Washington's starting quarterback, and Ertz has found the end zone in four of the five games this season that Daniels has started.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+210)
We're strictly taking big boys in this game. Darnold is the only Seahawks player who's got more offensive snaps than Barner this season. Barner's been a reliable red-zone target for Darnold, totaling four touchdowns in seven games. Like the Seahawks, Washington also struggles against tight ends, allowing the fifth-most scores to the position in 2025.
