Report: Achane not on trade block despite Dolphins' rebuild
Teams have called the Dolphins to inquire about trading for De'Von Achane, but Miami said the standout running back isn't available, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
New Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has said Achane is a building block, according to ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques.
Miami's parted with several key starters this offseason, trading away Jaylen Waddle and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and releasing quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and pass-rusher Bradley Chubb.
Achane, 24, is entering the final year of his rookie contract. The 2023 third-round pick has put on a show since entering the league, averaging 5.6 yards per carry. He rushed for a career-high 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025 while catching 67 passes for 488 yards and four touchdowns.
The rebuilding Dolphins kicked off a new era this offseason by hiring Sullivan and first-year NFL head coach Jeff Hafley. Although Miami has moved on from several starters, the club gave quarterback Malik Willis a three-year, $67.5-million contract in free agency.
