Scheifele, Robertson return for Game 1 of Jets-Stars
Premier forwards Mark Scheifele and Jason Robertson returned for the Dallas Stars' 3-2 victory in Game 1 over the Winnipeg Jets.
Scheifele, Winnipeg's first-line center, missed the last two contests of Round 1 with an undisclosed ailment. However, Jets' No. 1 defenseman Josh Morrissey was not in the lineup after he left Game 7 against the St. Louis Blues with an apparent injury.
Robertson, Dallas' leading goal-scorer during the regular season, made his 2025 playoff debut after missing all of Round 1 due to a lower-body issue.
Scheifele took a pair of hard hits in Game 5 against the Blues. He's tallied two goals and four assists in five postseason outings.
Robertson recorded 35 goals and 45 assists in 82 games before he was hurt in the regular-season finale.
Morrissey led all Jets defenders in points (62) and average time on ice (24:23) during the regular season. With fellow blue-liner Logan Stanley also out, Colin Miller and Haydn Fleury entered Winnipeg's lineup on the back end.
