The Montreal Canadiens have shown interest in acquiring St. Louis Blues winger Jordan Kyrou, TSN's Pierre LeBrun reported on "Insider Trading."
Multiple teams have inquired about the speedy forward as his no-move clause kicks in July 1, LeBrun notes.
Kyrou has five years remaining on his contract at a $8.125-million cap hit. He's coming off a 36-goal, 70-point season. The Blues drafted Kyrou 35th overall in 2016.
The Canadiens swung a huge trade Friday, acquiring defenseman Noah Dobson from the New York Islanders for a pair of first-round picks and Emil Heineman.
Montreal is fresh off its first playoff appearance since 2021, and is in the market for a top-six winger.
