Wyndham Clark fires 61 to lead by 2 in Scottsdale
Wyndham Clark carded a flawless 10-under 61 on Thursday at the Waste Management Phoenix Open to grab an early two-shot lead over Billy Horschel.
Clark made 10 birdies - five on each nine - with no bogeys during the lowest-scoring round of his professional career. The 26-year-old has never won on the PGA Tour, and his best finish was a T-5 at the 2019 3M Open in Minneapolis.
Horschel held the lead briefly before Clark's late charge. He turned in a bogey-free performance of his own to stand alone in second.

Jordan Spieth and defending champion Rickie Fowler shot matching 3-over 74s.
