Koepka undergoes knee surgery, puts Masters in doubt
Brooks Koepka underwent surgery on his right knee this past Tuesday to repair an injury that kept him out of the Players Championship, according to Golfweek's Eamon Lynch.
As a result, Koepka is uncertain whether or not he will be ready to compete in the Masters, which begins in less than three weeks.
"Whatever my body says, I’m going to listen," Koepka told Lynch.
Koepka revealed he dislocated his right knee cap and suffered ligament damage. Initial reports stated a strain forced him to withdraw from The Players.
The world No. 12 sent out a tweet showing himself on crutches with a bandage on his right knee. Koepka underwent the operation in California and will stay on the West Coast to undergo physical therapy.

The 30-year-old, who also missed the 2020 U.S. Open in September due to lingering left knee and hip injuries, finished tied for seventh at Augusta in November.
Koepka won the Phoenix Open at the beginning of February - his eighth PGA Tour title.
