Arozarena: Will Smith refused fist bump during Mexico-U.S. game
Team Mexico outfielder Randy Arozarena says United States catcher Will Smith turned down a fist bump during Sunday's game at the World Baseball Classic.
This is completely speculative but it sure looked like Will Smith refused to give Randy Arozarena a fist bump.

"I played with Will Smith, and it was nice to see him. He left me with an outstretched hand, but I'm not going to start crying. I went ahead and gave them two doubles," the Tampa Bay Rays outfielder said in Spanish postgame when asked about interaction with the Los Angeles Dodgers catcher.
Randy Arozarena: “Yo jugué con Will Smith y me dio gusto verlo; Me dejó con la mano estirada pero no voy a ponerme a llorar, seguí para adelante y les di dos dobles”.

Arozarena and Smith played together in the Double-A Texas League and Triple-A Pacific Coast League in 2018 and 2019. They also faced off during the 2020 World Series between the Dodgers and Rays.
Mexico beat the U.S. 11-5 in a statement win that pushed both countries to 1-1 with two games remaining in the round-robin stage of the tournament.
