An Ohio State fan knocked Iowa star Caitlin Clark to the ground after Buckeyes supporters stormed the court following a 100-92 overtime victory Sunday over the Hawkeyes.

Clark appeared injured following the collision, though the reigning Naismith College Player of the Year later told reporters she initially had the wind knocked out of her but didn't get seriously hurt.

Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith apologized to Clark for the incident, according to CBS Sports' Patrick Murphy.

Clark, 21, had 45 points on 12-of-25 shooting from the field and scored all of Iowa's nine points in the extra frame. The Des Moines, Iowa, native continues to lead NCAA Division I hoops with 31 points per game for the No. 2 ranked Hawkeyes.

Forward Cotie McMahon led the way for No. 18 Ohio State with a career-high 33 points and 12 rebounds.

Ohio State trailed by as many as 12 points in regulation before forcing overtime with the score knotted at 83-83.

With the victory, the Buckeyes snap Iowa's 15-game winning streak and improve to 15-3 on the season and 6-1 in Big Ten play, good enough for second in the conference behind the Hawkeyes (7-1).
