Veteran guard Courtney Vandersloot is expected to sign with the Chicago Sky, sources told Annie Costabile of The Chicago Sun-Times.

Vandersloot left the Sky in free agency two years ago to join the New York Liberty. She averaged 8.7 points, 6.6 assists, and 2.6 boards over 70 appearances with the Liberty.

The 35-year-old was an All-Star in her first campaign in the Big Apple and helped the club win its maiden WNBA title last season.

Chicago drafted Vandersloot with the third overall pick in 2011. She spent her first 12 seasons in the Windy City, earning four All-Star nods, two All-WNBA first-team selections, and a league championship.

Vandersloot has led the WNBA in assists on seven occasions and is the Sky's all-time leader for dimes.
