2025 MLB schedule: Opening Day, Tokyo Series, Rivalry Weekend among key dates

Major League Baseball announced the 2025 schedule Thursday with a number of key dates to keep an eye on.
The season begins March 18 in Tokyo with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs playing a two-game set.
Opening Day is slated for March 27. Here are the matchups:

The 95th edition of the All-Star Game is scheduled for July 16 at Truist Park in Atlanta.
One key change for 2025 includes an increase in interleague games, with May 16-18 being tabbed as "Rivalry Weekend." Eleven of the 15 series that weekend will feature interleague rivalries such as Mets-Yankees, Angels-Dodgers, and White-Sox-Cubs, among more.
The 2025 campaign is set to conclude Sept. 28.
